Wandering Alert Products Menu - Awareness systems to assist caregivers with wandering patients

The wandering alert "family" can be activated either by a sensor on a window or door with our Model DA2T or can cover the floor adjacent to the bed area with our Model DA4T. When the person being monitored exits the room or attempts to get out of bed, the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver/sounder that activates a volume controlled alerting sound that continues until reset. The receiver has a reset button on the front to reset the sounder and become ready for another alert. If multiple sounder alerts are required in different locations at the same time, we offer our Model WARD-RS which allows all remote alerting locations to be reset (wirelessly) with the use of our Model DA5T, wireless hand transmitter.

The receiver has a on/off switch to deactivate the sounder while assistance is being administered to the person being monitored, compared to others systems that are door announcers being used as wandering alerts.

The wandering alert "family" is wireless and does not require any electrical wiring and the simplicity in design makes it a dream to install.

The receiver also has an output for an optional, simple to plug in flashing red light Model DALR, this feature allows for both sound and light or just an alerting light for those who might be monitoring a friend or relative and can be alerted without bothering other family members.

The wandering alert "family" also has a built-in assistance call function that provides a different audible alerting sound (momentary) for the patient that requires assistance and is not wandering. This feature, (using our Model WA-5T), is excellent for recovering heart patients, only requiring assistance without having to stess vocal cords.

The Battery is included with each sensor, depending on type required.

Model DA4T is an extra motion sensor transmitter that simply can be added to the Model WA1 (system) for monitoring additional doors or areas of protection, without having to purchase another complete system.

Model WARD-RS
(Extra Receiver / Sounder with wireless reset function)

The WARD-RS has all the same features found in the basic system with the addition of the wireless reset function. This function is ideal when more than one sounder, ie. upstairs and downstairs, is being used. Instead of going to each location to reset the sounder, simply press the wireless Model DA5T push button and each sounder is reset wirelessly. Requires the addition of our Model DA5T (hand held wireless transmitter button).

(NOTE) The Model DALR cannot be used with the Model WA-RS "reset receiver" as the 12 volt output feature is used to provide the reset function.

Model DALR
(12 volt red flashing strobe)

Model DALR is an (optional) 12volt flashing red strobe light accessory that can be plugged into the "NEW" 12 volt output. The strobe light is 3" in diameter and includes the female plug required for the output from the receiver.

(NOTE) The Model DALR cannot be used with the Model DAHC-RS "reset receiver" as the 12 volt output feature is used to provide the reset function.
